About this project

Menopause remains a taboo subject and its absence from mainstream media leads to a lack of awareness about this phase of life, which can be damaging to women, trans men and non-binary people of all ages.

That’s why we decided to create The Menopause Canvas, a campaign designed to raise awareness and break taboos around menopause through artistic expression, using feminine hygiene products as blank canvases. Each piece of art will tell the story of its owner, about how she experienced menopause to help educate people on the topic.
