About this project

The Dap is a symbol of black solidarity. It is a form of recognition, unity and respect. And the Dap is done with the hands, one of the main sources of skin cancer for black people.

From handshake to skin cancer diagnostic tool: The Dap Check.

A 10-step Dap, based on the way physicians perform hand exams, that works for both handshakes between POC and checking for skin cancer on all 4 hands involved.

Because the best way to fight a problem that is inherently black, is with a gesture that is authentically black.
